Packing List Creation & Printing
Millworx provides a procedure to create packing list and print packing list for Job Items.
Requirements to Create Packing List:
The Job Item progress marker "Milling Completed" must be checked. Only the Job Items with the "Milling Completed" may appear in the Pack List Table.

The Packing List Table may be accessed from the Office Tools main menu option or the Packing List Icon on the main icon bar.

The Packing List Table is shown below: |

| A. | Search for a Job Item to Add Boards or Edit the Packing List entry. |
| B. | View the details of a Job Item. Editing is not allowed. |
| C. | The Job Items, which have the Milling Completed (checked) appear in the upper table. The Job Item details appear in this light blue panel. |
| D. | The Boards added to the Packing List appear in the lower table. |
| E. | Use the [Add Board Length] button to add a Packing List entry for a specific board length. Enter the Mill Tag # into the window or when the entry form is opened with the [Add Board Length] or [Edit] buttons. |
| F. | To print a Packing List select the Job Item in the upper table and then click on the [Packing List] button. |
Adding a Board Length to the Packing List
First, search and highlight the Job Item that will be used to create a packing list. Use the [Add Board Length] button to add a Packing List entry for a specific board length. Enter the Mill Tag # into the window or when the entry form is opened with the [Add Board Length] or [Edit] buttons.

| A. | The Job Item # and Packing List Number are automatically generated and cannot be edited. |
| B. | Enter or accept the Mill Tag #. |
| C. | Adjust the Board Length to the actual length to be recorded. The Board Length defaults to 7 feet, and can range from 1 foot to 18 feet. The Length Inches is optional. The Total Length as Inches is generated by the formula (Board Length * 12) + Length Inches. The Total Lineal Feet is automatically calculated. |
| D. | Enter the quantity of Pieces. The Total Lineal Feet is generated by the formula (Total Length as Inches * Pieces) / 12. |
| E. | The Inspected By field may be entered by the Employee Id Code Lookup Table or by entering a name into the Name field, which is to the right of the Employee Id code field. |
| F. | Enter the Inspection Date or use the Calendar Lookup button. The Date Inspected field defaults to "today's date." |
Save +Close to enter the next or additional boards to the Job Item Packing List.
Printing a Packing List

| A. | Select the Job Item # in the upper table and the Packing List will appear in the lower table. |
| B. | Add additional Board Lengths or edit the existing entries as needed. |
| C. | Click on the [Packing List] button to print the Packing List. |
Packing List Sample:

| A. | The Order # + Job Item # creates the Pack List Number. |
| B. | The Customer Address and Shipping Address are pulled from the Quote/Order header record. |
| C. | The Piece Count sum. |
| D. | The Total Lineal Feet sum. |
| E. | Inspector and Date information. |
